Cows are an animal in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade.
Cows are most likely the first animal that the player will have on the farm. Cain will give the player their first cow for free when the barn is entered for the first time.
Hanna will sell a black and white cow when buying from Horn Ranch, but it's possible to get a brown or black cow when breeding cows on the farm.

All cows need to eat fodder daily, but an adult can be let out to graze on grass instead. A healthy cow can be milked once every day, even if it's outside. The quality of the milk will depend on the cows affection with you and its health. To raise its affection, a cow may be brushed and pet daily. Leaving the cow out in sunny weather to graze also increases affection.
It takes 14 days for a pregnant cow to give birth and another 15 days for a calf to mature into an adult.
