Selena (シーラ Shīra? lit. Sheila) is a bachelorette in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade.
An original resident of Toucan Island, Selena dreamed of leaving to pursue her love of dancing. After the Blue Bell is rung, Selena will live at Brass Bar.[1] She can be seen dancing at night, but is easily found in Harmonica Town during daytime. Once Selena moves to Harmonica Town, she will not return to Toucan Island. Your rival for her affection will be Luke.

Heart Events[]
Gift (2-Heart Event)
Selena's first heart event will occur when she has 2 hearts. This event will automatically occur as you walk out of your home. Selena will be there in the morning and asks if you'd accept a gift that she shows. Once her gift is accepted, Selena will be very happy with you receiving a Black Pearl, one of her favorite gifts.
Gift #2 (4-Heart Event)
The same event happens as in 2-heart event, except Selena must have 4 Hearts. Selena's dad taught her how to make it, and feels that she made it to perfection. She will ask if you'd like her gift; doing so will make Selena delighted. Because the Southern Omelet is a native dish of Toucan Island, giving the gift back to Selena will earn friendship points.
Date (5-Heart Event)
When Selena has 5 hearts or more, find Selena and talk to her before noon, who was hoping for a walk on the beach later on in the day. If you accepts, meet Selena on Harmonica Town Beach at 4pm.
When the player arrives, the two of us will enjoy looking out at the ocean. Selena loves the beach, and asks if you love it too. Tell you do so to make her happy. She will thank for the time you've spent with her before you return home. Standing Selena up for the date or rejecting her invitation will result in losing heart points.
Confession (7-Heart Event)
When Selena reaches 7 hearts, find Selena and talk to her before noon. She will ask the player to meet her near the Lighthouse at 4pm. During the date, Selena wants to talk to you about what has been on her mind. Believing you're shy, Selena asks how do you feel towards her.
Selecting one of the first four options will officially make you and Selena a couple, with her being relieved that you return feelings. The two will return home as this event ends. Not showing up to meet Selena or selecting one of the negative options will result in losing heart points.
Proposal (9-Heart Event)
Selena must have 9 hearts before you can propose to her. After you receive the Blue Feather, showing it to her will result in a proposal event, proven that you completed other marriage requirements.
As Selena accepts the Blue Feather, a cut-scene will play where she wants to go somewhere private, which the two end up on Celesta Church grounds. Tell her that you want to marry her with one of the options shown. Afterwards, you and Selena will go to Town Hall where Hamilton will arrange random wedding date at Celesta Church.
Wedding[]
On wedding day, you will wake up in the morning and be automatically transported to the church. You will meet Selena and the guests attending your wedding, including her family. Hamilton will appear in every wedding cut scene, and Perry will always be there to make the wedding official.
When Perry asks if you promise, answering "No" will only result in him asking again; you must say "Yes" to make the marriage official. Hamilton will give you a Honeymoon Ticket that you can use after the wedding. Simon will always take a photo of the couple which is stored in your house.[3] Afterwards, Selena will live with you permanently, with the wedding ring being available through your closet to wear.

Personality
If you marry Selena, your children have three personality possibilities: Quiet, Energetic, and Dreamy.[4] Each personality will have different dialogues and chores they specialize in.
Appearance
Selena's children will have red hair and purple eyes, with their hair having a darker shade.[5] You can choose your children's personality with different options shown at each stage of their growth.
Rival Heart Events[]
4-Heart Rival Event
Go to Harmonica Town Beach between 10am and 8pm on a sunny day when Luke or Selena has 4 hearts.
Selena is practicing dancing, not realizing that someone is watching her. Luke tells her that her dancing is amazing. Selena accepts the compliment, but seems disappointed that he doesn't ask more about her. Before they smile and leave, Luke asks her hangout place, which Selena tells him she can be found at Brass Bar.
5-Heart Rival Event
Depending on the player's gender, Luke or Selena must be at 5 hearts.
As a female player, Selena will come to her house in the morning and tell about her relationship with Luke. Encouraging Selena will make her relieved, and you can continue view the couple's last rival event. The same event happens if the person is playing as male character.
Proposal (7-Heart Rival Event)
Walk into Brass Bar between 4pm and 8pm when Luke or Selena has 7 Hearts or more.
While watching Selena dancing with Owen, Luke tries to explain that he has been feeling weird lately, wondering if something is wrong with him. Owen laughs and says that Luke is just lovesick. Selena overhears the conversation and says that she thinks that it's the problem. Luke believes that there must be no cure for it, and asks her to marry him, which she happily accepts.
Wedding
Two weeks after viewing Luke and Selena's 7-heart rival event, you will receive a letter in your mailbox from them, asking if you'll attend their wedding.
On the due date, walk into Celesta Church at 10am to see Luke and Selena's wedding, with you as well as their family and friends attending as guests. Afterwards, you will be transported outside of the Church.
After Rival Wedding[]
After Luke and Selena get married, Selena will move into Carpenter's House in Garmon Mines, but will continue to work at Brass Bar.[6] On her day-off, she will spend her time in the Garmon Mine District, or can be found at the Carpenter House during daytime. Two weeks after their wedding ceremony, Luke and Selena will send a letter regarding the birth of their daughter, Lucy.
Other Events[]
Girl's Argument
Walk into Brass Bar between 4pm and 10pm when Luna, Kathy, and Selena have 3 hearts or higher.[7]
Selena brags about being the best dancer in town, causing Luna to get angry and insult her clothing. As the two girls argue, Kathy steps in and stops the argument. Luna was actually looking for Kathy and gives her the tablecloth that she came to deliver. Kathy quickly intervenes the situation with both Selena and Luna apologizing to each other.
