The Watering Can is a tool in Harvest Moon 64. It is one of the five upgradeable tools that start in the character's inventory.
The watering can is used to water the player's crops. Crops must be watered in order to grow. The watering can has a limited capacity and must be filled at a pond or greenhouse trough when it becomes empty.
Upgrading it improves the area watered and water capacity; the first upgrade waters the three squares in front of the player and holds 50 uses (improved from 30), the second upgrades waters nine squares in front of the player and holds 80 uses. The watering can upgrades every 600 uses (with or out holding the "B" button), for a maximum of two times.
