The Hammer is one of the essential tools in Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility.
The hammer is given to you by Owen at the game's beginning by visiting Ramsey's shop.
The primary use for the hammer is to break stones on your property or to break rocks while mining to obtain ores and wonderfuls. As the hammer is upgraded, breaking larger stones is possible, and the hammer will take less stamina to use.
You can charge up the hammer's power by holding down the A button. You will be able to break rocks faster with less effort the more the tool is upgraded.

As your skill level increases, you can break rocks faster.

Upgrades[]
You can buy tool upgrades from Ramsey at the tool shop. You will need to pay a small fee and bring in the required metal in order to upgrade. Alternatively, you can also buy the upgrades from the General Store for more money.
