Some of the outfits you can wear in the game.
Nori
In Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, both male and female main character have seven outfits to unlock each. An outfit may possess certain special effects; one of them is to raise the affection of marriageable candidates. All candidates have their own "favorite outfit," which means that every time you wear that outfit while talking to them, you get an extra +100 Friendship Points (FP), which definitely speeds up the process of raising their heart level.
Oracle
All outfits, except the default outfits of Konohana and Bluebell, can be unlocked by befriending Nori and the Oracle to a certain value of FP. You also have to have Message Board at certain level for outfits unlocked from the Oracle.

Konohana Outfit
You get this outfit by moving to Konohana or starting your game there. It isn't anyone's favorite outfit.
Bluebell Outfit
You get this outfit by moving to Bluebell or starting your game there. It isn't anyone's favorite outfit.
Work Outfit
Raise Nori's FP to 3,100 points, then accept her request on the board. She wants 2 Wool and 10,000G for it. It is Ash and Georgia's favorite outfit.
Casual Outfit
Raise Nori's FP to 6,200 points, then accept her request on the board. She wants 2 Wool and 30,000G. It is Cam and Reina's favorite outfit.
Urban Outfit (Male) / Hip Outfit (Female)
Raise Nori's FP to 9,300 points, then accept her request. She wants 2 Good Wool and 60,000G. It is Laney, Hiro, and the Oracle's favorite outfit.
Classy Outfit
Raise the Oracle's FP to 7,750 points or more and accept her request. You also have to be at Message Board Level 4 and own the Urban Outfit. She wants 5 White Alpaca Wool and 100,000G. It is Dirk, Mikhail, and Alisa's favorite outfit.
- While wearing this outfit, you get 15% more FP when you are gifting/talking/etc., so it is one of the best outfits for raising affection!
Wild Outfit (Male) / Cute Outfit (Female)
Raise the Oracle's FP to 7,750 points or more. You have to have Message Board Level 4 and accept her request. You also have to own the Classy Outfit. She wants 5 Brown Alpaca Wool, 1 Great Wool, and 100,000G for it. It is Kana and Nori's favorite outfit.
- If you go to bed while wearing the Wild/Cute outfit, the next day's weather will be sunny.
