The Summer Festival happens every year on the 17th of Summer.
It's an all day festival, starting at 9AM and going all the way until 11PM. The festival rings in the summer season, and has contests, shops, and a fireworks display.
Contests
Fishing Contest
This contest is for fish that you've already caught and shipped n the game so far. All of the fish that you've caught and shipped from Spring 1 until Summer 17 count towards this contest. You can view how much profit you've made by fishing in the game totals. If your profits for fishing are 50,000g+, then you should easily be able to win this contest.
First prize is 10 Bodigizer XL, second place is 10 Bodigizers, and third place winner gets 10 Stay Awakes.
Fishing Competiton
You will be able to register for this contest in between 12PM and 3PM. If you try to register too early, Hamilton will tell you to come back later, and if you try and enter too late, the competition will already be ongoing!
Talk to Hamilton to register for the competition. The objective is to catch the target fish in the shortest amount of time as possible. The target fish is randomized each time, but as soon as you catch it, the competition will end. The player will have in between 3PM and 4PM to catch the correct fish. Once the competition is started, the time will automatically go to 3PM. You can only catch fish from the beach, and if you leave, you will forfit the competition.
First place prize is 10 pieces of Shining Sashimi, second prize is 10 pieces of Perfect Sashimi, and third is 10 Good Herb Fish.
Fireworks
After you've done everything that there is to do at the festival, stick around to enjoy the fireworks at night. Stick around to the dock area, and at 7PM, the fireworks display will start. You can't choose a date, and you'll watch the fireworks with the rest of the villagers. The display will end at 11PM.
