Article layout is to a large extent standardized on The Harvest Moon Wiki. Sections and their headings should largely be consistent across broadly similar categories of articles. In addition, all articles should have lead sections that summarize the subject of an article, unless otherwise stated, and the applicable infobox template if one exists.

In general, these sections should appear in this order if they are needed in an article:

  • History is always used for the background history of the article's subject. It must be the first heading. On event articles, it is the background that led to the actual event. Never name such sections anything else other than "History".
  • Trivia sections are permitted; they must always use this title to make this clear.
  • See also is always used for sections that include links to relevant articles.

The word "the" should never be used to start a heading e.g. "Battle" instead of "The Battle" unless it is the beginning of an episode name e.g. "The Puppetmaster".

Character Pages

Every character page across the entire wiki should start with the Template:Infobox Character. Each game only needs certain sections. Above this, they may also have the Tabs template, the cleanup template, the unreleased template, or the info needed template.

After this, they should all start with the same opening with only three variations:

  • Character (キャラクター, Kyarakutā) is a [bachelor/bachelorette/character] in Game.

The romanized version uses Hepburn romanization, unless the name has been officially sourced as having an intended reading. If there is kanji in the name, then it should use the R template to give the phonetic reading.

Very few Bokujou games have voice actors. This is for their Japanese voice actor. It too should use the Hepburn romanization system and should have their given name first and then their last. It shouldn't be linked to any outside sources.
