Your Children are characters in Story of Seasons. They were both born on the same day, with the boy being born a few seconds earlier than the girl. The twins are very energetic, always wanting to play. They dream of growing up and helping the player in running their farm. They affectionately refer to their parents as "Papa" and "Mama".
To have children, the player needs to upgrade their house to the two-story size, which costs 500,000 G (350,000 G in Seedling mode). The required materials are 120 Lumber, 120 Stone, 30 Black Lumber, 30 Black Stone, and 10 Orichalcum. Unlike other Harvest Moon games, the player can only have twins. The twins will always be opposite-sex. Their skin tone, hair color, and eye color are inherited from the player's spouse.

Pregnancy and Birth[]
Once certain amount of days have passed since your wedding, as long as you've built a two-story house, the woman in the relationship will become pregnant. The amount of days required will be shorter the more expensive your wedding was. One month after the pregnancy, the player and their spouse will go to Marian's Clinic. After he announces the birth, the twins will be born. The boy will be named first, then the girl.
Newborn[]
During stage 1, the player cannot interact with the twins. They will be laying on the bed in the second floor of the house. If the player checks the bed, the game will only prompt if they want to go to sleep.
Toddler[]
Once the children reach stage 2, the player can talk to them to increase their FP. They say very little in response, and will always be sitting on the bed upstairs in your home. They sometimes crawl around in bed. Both the boy and the girl share the same sprite, with the boy's sprite being mirrored to the left. The only other visual difference they have is on their 3D models, where they have colored pompoms on the back of their hats. The boy has a blue pompom and the girl has a pink one.
Child[]
At stage 3, the twins will speak in complete sentences. From this point on, the player can interact with them like other characters. They will walk close to the farm area, entering barns and coops and even going to the area where the Nature Sprites are, but they will never go into town.
They will now join you and your spouse during meals. Your spouse's meal dialogue will now be replaced by the twins interacting with each other. They will also appear during certain family events, namely your birthday, your spouse's birthday and the wedding anniversary. In these events, your spouse's dialogue will remain unchanged, and they won't interact with your kids, but they will comment that they put the kids to bed before taking you out on a night date.
After festivals, your children will be next to your spouse directly to the left to celebrate your victory, or to console you after your defeat.
